EnviroMax
Plus Instructions & Tips
EnviroMax
Plus is a patented Fuel Catalyst that has been used successfully
for over 10 years in thousands of personal vehicles, as
well as city governments, large trucking lines, railroads,
farming, and fishing fleets.
Directions
for use in gas, diesel, bio-diesel, heating oil, gas/oil
mixtures, and gas blends with ethanol:
Dosage:
Add only 1/2 oz of EnviroMax Plus to 10 gallons of fuel.
Initially maintain this dosage for 3 full tanks of fuel
in your vehicle or engine. If you vehicle has more than
50,000 miles maintain this dosage for 6 full tanks of fuel.
For most vehicles this is the permanent dosage amount.
Optional Dosage: In some vehicles for optimum results
the dosage can be reduced 1/2 oz of EnviroMax Plus to 15
gallons of fuel and even as far as 1/2 oz to 20 gallons
of fuel.

Add
up the Savings:
When you use EnviroMax Plus at 1/2 oz to 10 gallons, you
will spend ~ $1.50 to treat 10 gallons of gas. At today's
prices, 10 gallons of gas costs you $30. If you get just
a 10% increase in Fuel economy, you will have fuel savings
of $3.00, and your investment was only $1.50. That is a
2 times return on your investment. The average increase
in fuel economy is 10-20% with some people seeing as high
as 35%. So you see, not only is EnviroMax Plus free to use,
in most cases you will realize a significant return on your
investment.
EnviroMax
Plus works in all hydrocarbon engines that use Petroleum
based fuels. This includes Automobiles, Diesel Trucks, and
Diesel engines in cars and in major factories, RV's, Motorcycles,
Boats, Tractors, Lawnmowers, Chainsaws, Generators, and
more. EnviroMax Plus can be used in Gasoline, Diesel, RFG,
Biodiesel, and Propane.
When
EnviroMax Plus is added to your fuel, it enables a more
complete burn. Imagine what would happen if you went from
burning ~85% of the fuel in the combustion chamber to ~98%
with EnviroMax Plus! This more complete burn results in
increased energy utilization, reduced emissions, increased
horsepower and performance. EnviroMax Plus will start cleaning
your engine then continue to keep your engine clean.
Nine
plus years of testing and use has proven that EnviroMax
Plus will not harm any internal combustion engine; in fact
all testing has proved EnviroMax Plus will extend engine
life. EnviroMax Plus International, Inc. guarantees the
use of EnviroMax Plus to be safe for use in any internal
combustion engine. If EnviroMax Plus can be shown to have
damaged any internal combustion engine, EnviroMax Plus International,
Inc. will replace the damaged parts of the engine free of
charge.

Fuel
Economy Tip # 1 - Measure EnviroMax Plus Correctly
Start by reading the EMP instructions that are also on the
back of the bottle to ensure you are starting with the right
dosage.
How much is 1/2 ounce? The most common problem I have found
with people not getting good results on fuel economy using
EMP, is "overdosing." Simply put, if a little
works good, then people think more is better. With EMP more
is NOT better. Too much of a good thing does not work to
your advantage, especially when using a fuel catalyst. That
"overdose" will not hurt anything, your vehicle
will run fine, just don't expect great results in fuel economy
if you put too much EMP in your fuel! EMP causes a chemical
reaction to occur in your fuel which enables it to burn
almost completely (+98%) in your combustion chamber.
Options for measuring:
Best Option 1: Always use a 2 ounce
bottle
With the markings on the side of the 2 ounce bottle, you
can accurately measure 1/2 ounce or 1 ounce.
After your 2 ounce bottle is empty, you can fill it back
up with 2 ounces from your 12 ounce bottle. Thus we suggest
you always keep a 2 ounce bottle for you own personal use.
Option
2: Use your 12 ounce bottle. If you look at the
EMP bottle (12 oz), you notice that it is measured in ounces.
The label measuring marks on the side, go up to 10 oz. Thus
there is 2 more ounces above the top mark. If you are only
using 1/2 ounce, and your bottle is full, we recommend you
start with a 2 ounce bottle as a measuring device. After
you pour out the first 2 ounces from the 12 ounce bottle,
you can then more accurately measure 1/2 or 1 ounce with
the markings on the side of the 12 ounce bottle.
Alternatives for Measuring EMP:
Get a one ounce alcohol shot glass. This is a simple and
accurate way to measure 1/4 to 1 ounce, anybody can get
a shot glass that used for alcohol.
Put EnviroMax Plus in First:
When you pour EnviroMax Plus into you tank spout, most if
it will seep through the restricter flap. Then you when
you put the gas nozzle in and dispense your fuel, the rest
of the EnviroMax Plus should make it's way down into the
tank. A good way to make sure that all of the EMP makes
it through the restricter flap is to buy an inexpensive
funnel from any Auto Parts or Department Store. If you want
to you can cut the plastic bottom out of an empty EMP bottle
and make a funnel out of it. The funnel will help you measure
in the correct amount.
Often I hear people wrestling to get EMP in just the right
amount, through a pesky fuel restricter flap, then all of
the sudden OOPS TOO MUCH! Oh well, you can't take it back
out. That "overdose" will not hurt anything, your
vehicle will run fine, just don't expect great results in
fuel economy if you put too much EMP in your fuel!
Fuel
Economy Tip # 2- Check your Air Filter
Recently
I rented a 2007 Ford Explorer 4.0L 6cyl. This was a great
opportunity to test EnviroMax Plus. I was driving the same
route to and from my destination. To my surprise, I did
not see any fuel economy improvement using EnviroMax Plus.
This did not make any sense to me. I had to know why, so
I popped the hood of this rental and took a look at the
air filter. It was plugged up with dirt . . . no wonder!
EnviroMax
Plus is a catalyst that uses oxides to increase oxygenation
in your combustion chamber. This is what creates the more
efficient burn of your fuel and leads to decreased emissions
and increased fuel economy. But here is a common problem,
if your air filter is dirty, the combustion chamber can't
get more oxygen . . . the air filter is preventing it.
Changing
the air filter is easy. If you don't want to do it yourself,
most oil change centers can do it for you. What could a
dirty air filter cost you? Not much, compared to the fuel
economy already lost! A dirty air filter can effect engine
sensors, other systems, and reduce your economy by 10 -
20%, or more! Left unchanged it can eventually lead to costly
repairs.
Dirty
or plugged air filters will reduce your fuel economy and
may prevent EnviroMax Plus from helping your car reach it's
full potential. Here is a simple formula to tell you if
you need to change your air filter: Remove your air filter
(or have someone else remove it) and inspect it for visual
dirt. If you see dirt in the element replace it. If it appears
in question and your are not sure if it needs to be replaced,
place it on a white paper towel on the ground and tap it
down firmly a few times on the towel. If dirt comes out
the towel it is time to replace your air filter.
Changing
the air filter is easy. If you don't want to do it yourself,
most oil change centers can do it for you. There are also
premium type air filters available that are cleanable and
allow more air to flow into your engine. These are a cost
effective investment when they are available. What could
a dirty air filter cost you in lost fuel? If you drive 15,000
miles per year, and your car's average is 20 MPG; 15,000
miles divided by 20mpg x $3.50 per gallon x 10% decrease
in fuel economy = $262.50 of lost fuel!

Plus Tip # 3 - Carbon Build Up in your Engine
When
you fuel burns incompletely, unburned carbons are left behind
in your engine; otherwise known as Carbon Build Up. Within
10,000 miles on your engine, carbon build up is already
causing problems. The problem that costs you the most money
initially is lost fuel economy. Your fuel in your engine
will not burn as well where there is even a small amount
of carbon build up. Carbon eventually builds up your fuel
injectors and can cause an uneven fuel pattern spray to
come out of the injectors. If you can visualize this; instead
of a nice conical spray pattern (like a garden hose nozzle
spraying a nice wide and even mist) you get a stream or
"fire hose," type patterns. This really causes
a loss in fuel economy, and engine efficiency.
Eventually
carbon build up causes increased friction in your engine's
moving parts. Imagine rubbing you hands together with baby
oil on them. This is what an engine experiences with no
carbon build up. No imagine you hands are dry and you pick
up sand and rub your hands together. This is what you engine
experiences as carbon builds up. This will cause your engine
to wear up quickly and will eventually lead to major repairs
and eventual engine failure.
Removing
and preventing Carbon Build Up is why EnviroMax Plus is
so valuable. If you use EnviroMax Plus in a new engine,
it will never experience carbon build up!
If your
engine has been used without EnviroMax Plus, now you can
remove carbon build up. EnviroMax Plus will immediately
begin to clean out the old carbon build up in your engine.
The older your engine, the more time it will take.
As the
carbon build up is removed in your engine, you will eventually
begin realizing improved fuel efficiency and increased fuel
economy. On my 1988 Dodge Colt with over 215 K miles, it
took me five bottles of EnviroMax Plus to clean out the
carbon build up. On the sixth bottle of EnviroMax Plus at
a dose of 1 oz to 10 gallons of fuel, I actually started
to get an increase in miles per gallon. Now my little cold
gets 15% better fuel economy around town with EMP and is
running like new!
It is
important that you understand carbon build up and why it
takes time for EnviroMax Plus to produce results in engines
that have been running without the benefit of EnviroMax
Plus. Don't make the mistake many people have made who quit
using EnviroMax Plus after 1-2 tankfuls because they did
not see immediate results with EnviroMax Plus
EnviroMax
Plus Tip # 4 - Your Engines Oxygen Sensors
In some cases, using EnviroMax Plus will not initially increase
your fuel economy. The good news is that EnviroMax Plus
works every time, but you may need to go through several
steps to see the fuel economy results you desire. Completing
the cleaning phase and using the right dosages as indicated
on the bottle are the first two steps to realizing optimal
fuel economy. Make sure your filters are clean and that
you shake the EnviroMax Plus bottle well, before pouring
the correct amount in your fuel tank.
But
some vehicles will need an additional step to see results.
Most vehicles have oxygen sensors that read the amount of
oxygen in the exhaust and adjust the air / fuel ratio of
your vehicle. If your vehicle oxygen sensors malfunction
then your engine will not properly read the exhaust and
incorrectly adjust your fuel mixture, often causing you
to waste fuel. This is called "running rich."
Please check your manufacturers "service life"
rating for these sensors and replace accordingly. When in
doubt have your service professional run a scan and waveform
analysis of your systems.
If your call is not seeing fuel economy results, and your
vehicle has been in use for a significant period of time,
it may be time to change your oxygen sensors. In many cases
we have seen an immediate increase in fuel economy after
following this tip.

EMP
is the finest fuel catalyst in the market place! There is
no product in the market that will produce better results
in reducing harmful exhaust emissions, reducing engine wear,
reducing maintenance, and increasing fuel economy.
